Random Haps

Scarlett loves to dress up. She is such a girl. She is always bringing me shoes, scarfs and "necklaces" to try on.

 I also forgot to mention earlier (as of three weeks ago) Scarlett officially started walking and with it came an attitude :)

This last week we've been struggling because Scarlett has been sick and teething. Her top four teeth decided to all come in together- poor thing. Needless to say I've been giving her a lot of cold things to numb the pain. This lucky day she got ice cream. She devoured a whole cone by herself. Instead of worrying about the mess I decided to get my camera instead....

As a reward for all my hard work Scarlett finally decided to start sleeping through the night. The last couple of nights she's been sleeping from 8-8. First time folks in a year+ this has happened, hopefully it stays...

Talloires, France

We are back from our trip to France. We had such a great time. We had a little hiccup in the beginning when they canceled our Friday night flight after it had been delayed for 2 hours. Luckily, Jared worked his magic and we were able to get on the Sunday night flight, which was delayed again, but we made it!

We had such a great time visiting with friends, eating French food and spending time at the lake. Oh, and playing guitar hero...which I rocked :)

Yesterday we checked out the pools on the island near our house. It's a big complex with lots of pools, all ranging in different temperatures, a couple water slides, and a thermal bath. Scarlett loved splashing around in the toddler pool. Jared and I came away with pretty bad sun buns but don't worry Scarlett was well protected.
