At about 7:00 tonight I needed a chocolate fix. I raided the cupboards (there had to be some morsal of chocolate in there, right, we just had Halloween for crying out loud). Nothing.
That's when I found the box of brownies, yippeee. I knew I was saving those for a rainy day, literally. Don't judge me. It's raining. Jared is in London. And I'm feeling sorry for myself cure=chocolate.
So,.. I poured the oil and water in the bowl and opened the fridge to get the egg. There were No eggs (insert me crying, not really, but I was sad) I even looked up in my Betty Crocker book a substitute for eggs. I egg substitute = two egg white, blah blah blah. If I didn't have an egg why would I have egg whites? At this point I even considered making the brownies without the egg, anyone know what would happen? Just to make sure I checked the fridge again hoping that an egg would mysteriously appear, nothing.
Not wanting to waste my precious box of brownies (most of you don't understand because you can get brownies whenever you want, but this specific box was brought to me across the Atlantic by my mom last May) I poured the oil and water down the drain and cursed, really.
20 minutes later Scarlett asks for an apple so I open the fridge to get it and boom

EGGS
At this point I'm sure you're thinking a couple things
1. Mmm, pizza, because that's what I think when I see this picture
2.That fridge is empty, yes, I need to go to the store
and
3. Seriously, seriously, how did you miss the EGGS 3 TIMES?
I don't know what you tell you folks. All I can say is I immediately turned the oven back on and now I'm enjoying hot gooey brownies.
The End
