In Celebration of Spring

Monday we headed to a town about an hour east for what was suppose to be a big spring festival. I don't know if it was the weather or what but it was kind of a let down. It had snowed the night before and was freezing cold so maybe no one was feeling springy.

You know the places you go where people are dressed up so you get a feel for what things might have been. You know what I mean right? Nauvoo, Williamsburg, (can't think of a third). The cool thing about this woman is that she is for real. No dress up here!

Happy Easter

Thanks Aunt Sharon for the beautiful dress!

Happy Birthday to Me

Thanks to all who sent me well wishes on my B-day. I felt lots of love. It was a pretty mellow day. To celebrate we got together with a couple friends and went bowling and had sundaes at McDonalds. Oh yeah, and of course I beat everyone at bowling :)

Saturday Outing

Today the sun was out after three weekends of rain so we decided to head to the hills. We took a chairlift up to Janos Hegy (John Mountain) to a look out tower which is the highest point in Budapest.

Cotton candy bigger than Scarlett

Scarlett enjoying the view

On the way back we took the Children's Railroad. Everything is run by children except for the conductors because that would be a scary thought

Again, Scarlett enjoying the view

Two reasons I love this picture...

1. It looks like Jared has some magical powers that put Scarlett to sleep after a long day and a much needed nap

and

2. Notice the woman in the background. One thing I love about Budapest, you still will find people in the traditional Hungarian wear

Hope your Saturday was as fun as ours...
