Tonight was Jared's Halloween work party. Scarlett and Jared went in coordinating costumes.

So I don't know why this was such a big deal for me, maybe because I can remember the joy it once brought me, but Scarlett found her thumb. I'm so happy for her.



On a different note, check out the little ham. She already enjoys dressing up and/or being naked.

This past weekend my parents and grandparents joined us for a great little trip to Hallstatt, Austria. Hallstatt is a quaint little town in the mountains of Austria. It was so beautiful. They still had their fall colors and on top of that it snowed for the first time this season.

Rubiks Cube World Championship

This past weekend we went to the Rubiks Cube World Championship held here in Budapest. It was pretty amazing. People ages 5-50 were competing. They could solve the cube in 10, 11, 12 seconds. The fastest time we saw was 10.8 seconds. The world record is 9. something seconds. And I thought my 3 minute record was something amazing. Wow...

Shoes on the Danube

Shoes on the Danube is a memorial to the people who fell victim to the Arrow Cross militiamen in Budapest and depicts their shoes left behind on the bank when they fell into the river after having been shot during World War II.

New Stats

Today at her Dr's appointment Scarlett weighed in at:

6.4kg which is 14 lbs (50th percentile)

and

65cm which is 25.6 in (90th percentile)

She hasn't grown any longer but she definitely has gained some weight
