Nigerian Food Night

Last night we had our friend Brown (yes that's his real name) come over and show us how to cook some Nigerian specialties. He made chicken skewers, tomato stew with rice, and meat pies. It was all very delicious. All in all it took 3 hours to prepare with lots of juggling of pots and pans

Scarlett and I spent most of the day yesterday shopping for the list of ingredients Brown gave us. I think it took four stores to get everything including the African Hairbraiding Center and Shop where we picked up special white beans and Vita Malt which tasted like malted root beer.
