Krakow, Poland

This past weekend Jared & I took an overnight train to Krakow, Poland. We arrived Saturday morning at 5am for a long day of touring. We spent the night at a Hostel, toured all day Sunday and then took an overnight train back Sunday night arriving in Budapest at 9:30am Monday morning. We had a great little weekend and saw all that we wanted to see.

Saturday was VERY cold

Jared thought it would be appropriate to climb into the statue

Yummy, yummy burrito. It made my day!

We took a tour of a Salt Mine. Everything inside was made out of salt or wood. You can see the salt seeping through the ceiling and the chandelier crystals are made of salt.

Miners carved multiple cathedrals inside the mine because the work was so dangerous they were all very religious. Again everything is made of salt even the floor.

This one is for Andrzej

Jared licking the wall to make sure it's salt. Sure thing

Loved the pictures of Poland! What in the heck did Jared have for dinner? Hope you didn't kiss him afterwards!
